2012 International Symposium
The Japan Girard Association is planning an international gathering of scholars and experts in Girard’s mimetic theory next year in Tokyo. The tentative title of the Symposium is “René Girard and the Place of Crisis: Mimetic Theory in the Light of Hiroshima.” The first part of the meeting will be held on the campus of International Christian University with the final day being held in Hiroshima. Prof. Michel Serres will give an address in Hiroshima.
